Nursing staff of Themba Hospital barricaded the road and protested just inside the hospital’s gate today. They demanded that attention be given to issues such as a shortage of resources and staff.
Mbombela Municipality’s Electrical and Traffic departments worked together to ensure safe passage for an abnormal road travelling through town. The electrical lines and robots had to be lifted, in some cases resulting in power outages.
